A global smash hit on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Games for Windows, BioShock for the PlayStation 3 system continues the success by earning perfect scores from PlayStation: The Official Magazine and GamePro Magazine. There are two possible endings for BioShock that depend on how you treated little sisters throughout the game. If you choose to 'harvest' more than one little sister, you will get the bad BioShock.

• Defeating Rumblers

When facing a Rumbler (Big Daddy with rockets) use Telekinesis to grab the rockets it fires then turn them back towards it.

• Easy final battle

Fully research the Houdini Splicer. Have Natural Camouflage equipped. Immediately before the final battle, remain idle, and you will become invisible. No one will attack as long as you do not move. If you move, you will become visible again, and all enemies will attack; you cannot turn invisible while being hit. Once Eleanor says she can fight, summon her. She will distract and fight everyone, allowing you to stay invisible. She will eventually kill everyone so that you can escape.

• Easy health

Melee a health station, and a health kit will come out.

• Easy loot

Hack a vending machine and stop the needle in the blue section to get free ammo or a free Eve. When the same thing is done at a health station you can get a first-aid kit.

• Easy money

Find an area that contains a working slot machine. For example, in the Siren Alley level inside the Mermaids Lounge, go upstairs into the room on the right side of the balcony that contains the slot machines. As you enter the room, turn left, and play the right-hand machine of the two that are facing you. Save the game before you start, and resave it every time your total money increases above where you started. If the machine does not payout after about a dozen turns, reload your saved game. It is possible to max out your wallet in approximately ten minutes. Repeat this as many times as desired.

• Easy Security research

Find a hackable vending or health machine next to or near a Bot Shutdown Panel. Hack the machine, and stop the pointer on the red to activate the alarm, thus triggering the Security Bots to come after you. Once you see them, quickly take a picture of one of them with the camera, then use the Bot Shutdown Panel to shut them down. The disabled bot will still be highlighted by the research camera, allowing you to research Security easily.

• Easy XP in Multiplayer mode

Have a friend join your game while it is in progress on any team-based game, putting him or her on the other team. Find a turret anywhere in the map, and make sure there is nobody around. You and your friend can hack the turret back and forth for 10 XP per hack. Repeat this as many times as desired.

• Free Telekinesis

Use the following trick to use Telekinesis to pull normal items toward you without using any of your Eve reserve. Eve is only used when you release the trigger and throw an item with Telekinesis. Use Telekinesis to pull items such as ammunition or first aid kits toward you to collect without wasting any of your meter. Note that if you take an item that you are already maxed out of, you will be stuck holding it with Telekinesis or release the trigger to throw it and waste your meter. However, if you display the Plasmid wheel and select another Plasmid attack, you can release the trigger to drop the item without Telekinesis automatically throwing it. By doing this you will not waste any of your meter dropping an item that you cannot carry. This also can be done when pulling electrified trip wires out of walls. To do this, pull the item toward you with Telekinesis and without releasing the trigger, display the Plasmid wheel to select another plasmid. When you close the Plasmid wheel and release the trigger you will drop the item.

• Help from Security Bots

Hack Security Bots when they appear after an alarm is triggered. They will remain in the area and fight for you. Note: Try stunning them with an electric attack first.

As you walk into arcadia there is a broken down elevator with arms holding chains go past that there is a door with a torch lit only one is lit now with the fire plasmid lite the other one and the door will open.

The code to the elevator to access Fontaine's apartment is 5744.

Need a little help getting the little sisters awayfrom the big daddies? First step: Find a securitycamera. Second: Let it see you and send out asecurity bot. Third: Hack the bot so its on yourside. Fourth: Go for that little sister again withyour new helper; see it it goes any better.

Use 2-3 of the crossbow trap ammo on a big daddy, first line up 3 traps spacedapart in a line going across a room and then shoot the big daddy from a distanceso he runs towards you. Stand where he will come for you, but go through thetraps instead he will die after he hits them.

When you reach Sander Cohen's level, instead ofregular Bouncers, Elite Bouncers will show upguarding the Little Sisters which means it'sgoing to take more hits to kill them. Stock up onfirst aid kits and eve hypos and then attack withan Electro Bolt (hopefully you've upgraded it tolevel 2 or 3). I like to use Insect Swarm aswell. While the Big Daddy is distracted hit itwith steel-tipped crossbow bolts and fraggrenades or Heatseeking RPGs. The Bouncers domore damage to you but are easier to take down.The Rosies are more complicated. If you can getclose to a stunned Rosie then hit it with steel-tipped crossbow bolts and exploding buck shotgunrounds. After that, the Little Sisters will behelpless. Armor piercing rounds also help as well.

Hopefully, by the time you've reached Dr.Steinman you would have upgraded at least oneweapon. If that weapon is the pistol or machinegun then it's the most effective against the doc.Stock up on first aids and eve hypos and then useas much antipersonnel rounds as possible on thedoctor. Use an electro bolt blast to stun him andthen blast away at his health until he falls.Search his body for items!

Peach Wilkins is the boss you face after Dr.Steinman. When gaining access to FontaineFisheries, Peach Wilkins will attack you withheavy firepower. Stock up on all kinds of ammo,especially grenades as well as eve hypos andfirst aids. Hit Peach with an electro bolt tostun him and then use your grenade launcher andshotgun rounds. keep doing this and Peach will godown easy.

After you help Cohen create his masterpiece,he'll grant you access to the tonic in the glasscase. If you want the item chained up next to it,attack Cohen. Cohen is a Houdini Splicer and mustbe dealt with using Incinerate, Electro Bolt, andSteel-tipped crossbow bolts. You can also useTelekinesis to catch his fireballs and throw themback at him. Use incinerate to hurt him. Then usethe crossbow to hurt him and electro bolt to stunhim. If you do it correctly you can beat himquickly and without losing much health.

At the end of the game, you must face Frank Fontaine, aka Atlas.Before fighting him, stock up on first aid kits. EVE hypos andplenty of grenade and crossbow ammo, mainly frags and steel-tipped arrows. Save before taking the elevator up becausethere's no vita-chamber in fontaine's lab. When you get upthere, stab Fontaine with the needle. Then the fight begins. Yoursteel-tipped bolts will do the most damage. Hit Atlas again andagain while using Winter Blast and then Fontaine will go back tothe chamber where you must stab him with the needle again.Now Atlas will be made of ice so use Incinerate and more steel-tipped bolts. Atlas will now call on security bots. Shoot the botsdown or hack one and let it fight with you. After you damagehim, stab him once more with the needle. Now Atlas returnsagain with Leadhead Splicers helping him. Use the frag grenadesto take out the Splicers and Atlas with ease and any RPGs orProxy mines you may have left. After hitting him with the needleonce more, Atlas will fall and you will receive 100 gamer pointsfor defeating him.

Make sure your VERY FIRST photo shot of eachcreature type is an 'action!' shot. You'll get abigger bonus. For an action shot, snap a photowhile they're attacking you. If it's out offocus, don't panic - try again. Note: if youdidn't get an action shot, you might getpenalized for trying multiple photos of acreature type.

This is a super quick, super clean method for defeating those pesky Big Daddies, without losing any health! First, make sure you have a substantial amount of liquid nitrogen ammunition for the chemical thrower, and a suitable weapon for owning the monster such as explosive buck or armor piercing machine gun rounds. This shouldn't be an issue, as there is generally more ammunition than you can use strewn about Rapture. With these weapons in hand, you should be able to freeze the big daddy with liquid nitrogen, switchto your shotgun, squeeze off a couple of shots, and switch back to the chemical thrower to keep the beast from thawing. If you continue to switch between the two guns, the big daddy will stay immobilized and shatter within seconds, thus making the game's most grueling and arduous fights extremely simple. Do it correctly and you won't need to use a single health pack! This may also be possible (if somewhat harder) with a higher level winter blast plasmid, although this will definitely drain a large amount of EVE. The downside to this tactic is you won't be able to loot the corpse after the fight, although this only means you'll be missing a few dollars.
