Console commands allows you to change, add, remove things in the games without the use of mods. These are also known as cheats by some players. Game Mode commands do not work on Playstation 4. However special game mode commands will work with a connected keyboard. All other Console commands are exclusive to the Steam copy of the game and are not available on the Playstation 4.

Cheat Codes

At the skirmish/multiplayer setup screen, enable the option for cheats. Then, enter one of the following codes at the console window to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: Some codes have alternate shortcut key combinations which can be used while playing the game, without the console window opened, to activate the same cheat function.

Activating cheats relinquishes single player game progressive

You can now use any of the cheat codes listed above in Campaign mode. Note: If it does not work, you may have to delete your old saved game and character, the saved games folder, and your original 'Game.prefs' file; thus, losing all previously established progress in the game. Then, start the game, create a new profile, but do not play. Exit the game, and follow the same instructions. You may also need to start a new mission or level for the cheats to work. Note: The enemy will also be affected by any cheat(s) enabled.

Structure/Unit generator

Start a Skirmish mode battle with cheats set to 'on'. While playing the game, press [Alt] + [F2] to display a menu that allows you to select and create free structures and units instantly where the view is currently aimed.
